These pages were created in order to provide Sherlockians -
and all other readers interested in Sherlockian literature -
with reviews of some of that vast amount of books and articles
about Arthur Conan Doyle and the Sherlock Holmes stories, The Canon.
The majority of the reviews are written by other Sherlockians.
The pages are best viewed with Opera, Netscape Navigator or
Internet Explorer version larger than 4.0.
The resolution of the screen should preferably be 800 x 600 as a minimum.
The site uses JavaScript and Cascading Style Sheets.
The layout is deliberately kept relatively simple in
order to make the pages load quickly and to let them
adjust to different platforms.
The HOUNDS discussion list which inspired me to set up this site and to
Charles Prepolec, Sandy Kozinn, Christopher Roden, Kate Karlson and several
other Sherlockians who took an interest in and assisted in the start phase of
this project.
Many of the black-and-white graphics are from
OldFashionedClipArt.com
This site concists of review contributions from many different readers
of Sherlockian literature and do not necessarily represent the opinion of the
editor of this site.
