Great detectives
Hi, Bees
I found this book by Julian Symons illustrated by Tom Adams.
The first story features an aging Holmes, who is consulted by a young lady, who eventually turnes out to become a detective herself. I shall not reveal her identity.
I just liked the pictures. They are the result of how the author and the illustrator imagine the aging Holmes. What do you think? Could the young girl look like Russell (with short hair and without glasses) in her twenties when she had begun wearing a dress rather than trousers?
By the way, the title of the pastiche is:
How a hermit was disturbed in his retirement.
And here follow the pictures.
